Hot Tub Service

What to Expect

Owning a hot tub is a luxury that also comes with the responsibility of maintenance and occasional service. That’s why it’s important to have a strong relationship with a trusted local dealer who has experienced, in-house service technicians. Our hot tub sales and service team brings over 34 years of combined experience, and we’re here to help keep your spa running smoothly.

Why a Diagnostic Visit is Important

A common service request we hear is, “My heater isn’t working.” While it may seem like a straightforward problem, the reality is that symptoms like the water not heating could be caused by a variety of underlying issues. In many cases, the heater itself is functioning properly, but a safety feature or another component—such as a flow sensor, pump, or control board—might be preventing it from turning on.

As a customer, you always have the option to request a part be replaced. We’re happy to accommodate that, and our junior technicians are trained to swap out parts like pumps and heaters. However, if the diagnosis is incorrect and the issue persists after replacing the requested part, it leads to extra time, cost, and frustration for everyone involved.

Our Recommendation: Schedule a Diagnostic Service Call

To avoid unnecessary costs and ensure your hot tub is repaired correctly the first time, we recommend starting with a Diagnostic Service Call. During this visit, a Senior Technician will thoroughly assess your hot tub, identify the root cause of the issue, and provide you with a recommended solution.

We stock our service vehicles with many of the most common heaters, pumps, sensors, and circuit boards to try to complete the repair during the same visit. However, it's not possible to carry every part for every make and model. In some cases, a follow-up visit will be necessary to install a specific part once it's ordered and received.

How to Prepare for Your Service Appointment

To help us provide the best service possible, please do the following before your technician arrives:

  • Know where your GFCI breaker is located – we may need to reset power during      the diagnosis.
  • Have a garden hose available – we often need to top off the water level to  safely test and complete repairs.
    • We recommend a heavy-duty or contractor-grade hose (3/4” or 5/8”) for       optimal flow.
    • In colder months, store your hose indoors to prevent freezing or damage.
    • Avoid using expandable hoses, as they often lack the pressure and volume       required to fill a tub efficiently.
