Artesian Elite – Flagship Performance, Built for Minnesota
MinnSpas is an authorized Artesian Elite dealer serving the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota area.
The Artesian Elite series represents the highest tier of performance from Artesian Spas. Designed for homeowners who want maximum hydrotherapy power, refined finishes, and long-term durability, the Elite line delivers a noticeably deeper, more customizable massage experience.
At MinnSpas, the Elite series is one of our most requested collections for customers upgrading from entry-level spas or seeking stronger therapeutic performance.
Advanced Hydrotherapy Engineering
Elite models are built around precision jet placement and high-output pump systems. Many include Artesian’s patented Variable Flow Control (VFC), allowing you to adjust water pressure seat by seat for a more personalized massage.
This is especially important for customers who:
Want stronger back and shoulder therapy
Prefer targeted massage instead of evenly split pressure
Use their spa for recovery and muscle relief
Built for Cold-Climate Reliability
Minnesota winters demand proper insulation and durable construction. The Elite series features:
Full-foam insulation systems
Composite framing (no wood rot)
Energy-efficient operation
Heavy-duty acrylic shells
Experience the Elite Series with Local Guidance
While Elite models are typically special-order due to their flagship configuration, our team can walk you through seating layouts, hydrotherapy differences, and finish options in person.
We regularly compare Elite, Island, and South Seas collections to help customers determine which series best fits their space, performance expectations, and budget.

MinnSpas carries multiple spa collections manufactured by Artesian Spas:
All Artesian Elite hot tubs require a dedicated 240-volt, 60-amp GFCI-protected circuit installed by a licensed electrician. The 60-amp service supports the higher pump output and advanced hydrotherapy systems found in the Elite series. A disconnect panel must be installed within line of sight of the spa and in accordance with Minnesota electrical code.
Artesian Elite models are engineered for a dedicated 240-volt, 60-amp GFCI-protected circuit to support full heater and pump performance. While some installations may operate on a 50-amp breaker depending on configuration, it is not recommended for optimal performance. On a 50-amp service, the heater may automatically shut off when multiple jet pumps are running simultaneously. For full hydrotherapy output and continuous heating during use — especially in cold Minnesota winters — a 60-amp circuit is strongly recommended.
The operating cost of an Artesian Elite hot tub in Minnesota depends on usage, temperature settings, and exposure to wind. Elite models are fully foam insulated and designed for cold-climate efficiency. When properly installed with a quality cover and correct electrical setup, most homeowners experience predictable and manageable monthly energy costs.
The Artesian Elite series is the flagship performance tier from Artesian Spas. Compared to Island Spas, Elite models typically feature higher-output pump configurations, advanced hydrotherapy engineering, Variable Flow Control (VFC) on select models, upgraded cabinetry and interior lighting packages, and premium internal components. Island Spas offer excellent value and performance, while Elite models are designed for buyers seeking maximum massage power and customization.
