Hot Tub on the End, or on the Side?

All four of our dual temp models are TidalFit FitSpas, but they split into two layouts. The DT-19 and DT-21 are straight-line units — 19 and 21 feet long with the hot tub on the end. The DTL-6 and DTL-8 are L-shaped swim spas: a 14 ft swim lane with the hot tub connected on the side, which keeps the length of a mid-size spa while adding a full spa zone (total width runs 13′7″–15′2″, so measure for the L). End-style buys you a longer lane; side-style buys you a shorter pad. Either way, each zone has its own temperature — low 80s on the swim side, 104°F on the spa side, at the same time.

Every dual temp we carry offers the WaVS variable-speed swim system, so choosing the hot tub doesn't mean giving up real swimming.

Swim Spa + Hot Tub Combos – Frequently Asked Questions

A single unit with two separate bodies of water: a swim spa zone and a hot tub zone, each with its own heater, controls, and temperature. You can swim at 82°F while the hot tub sits at 104°F — no compromise between exercise and soaking.

You're heating two zones, so operating cost runs above a single body model — but below running a separate hot tub and pool. Full-foam insulation keeps Minnesota winter operation manageable; see the operating cost guide.

Our DTL-6 and DTL-8: a 14 ft swim spa with the hot tub mounted on the side instead of the end, forming an L. You get a true hot tub without stretching to a 19–21 ft footprint — the trade is width, up to 15′2″.
